POSITION SUMMARY
Curo Strategies is currently looking to fill a Senior Business Analyst position located in Washington, D.C.
The Senior Business Analyst will:
- Collect existing business process flows from domain experts
- Verify flows with the leadership team
- Support the mapping of existing processes to those existing in the selected COTS solution
- Ensure the COTS solution addresses target state completely
- Support the training process
- Work at the client's site in Washington DC daily

POSITION DETAIL
What are the functions of the Senior Business Analyst?
- Build the foundation for the COTS configuration effort by capturing the business context current state and the desired target state
- Identify gaps between the current and target states and facilitate the transition
- Develop requirements (business and technical) and establish traceability to the business vision
- Manage the requirements through the project lifecycle by establishing and maintaining agreements between the client and the project teams
- Play a critical communications role between the business and technical teams
- Ensure requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested
- Work closely with the project manager and client to ensure a smooth transition from the current to target state.
- Write and confirm business and non-functional/system level requirements in the form of Use Cases
- Responsible for change control over requirements
Must-Have Skills and Experience:
- Excellent people skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- 5 plus years experience implementing software projects
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a consultant working independently
- Experience with software applications through deployment and production support
- Experience working with the Federal government
General Information
- This is a four month contract
- We will consider W2, 1099, and corp to corp relationships
- Work will be performed in Washington DC
- Eligibility requirement: U.S. Citizenship
